Chisana Sakana no Yujin (Littile Fish Friend), or Sakana for short, are a special type of species that are said to be once fish. Sakana ponies often help fish and try to find a fish to become long-term partners with, in special occasions, two. Being part fish themselves, they are able to live on both land and water. Sakana are able to befriend fish and become long term companions. One can say that the fish is the Sakana's life source and the Sakana is the fish's life source. If one of the two ends up dying, the other will die as well. Sakana foals are born when two Sakana merge bubbles together and separate after 2-3 days, causing a third bubble to form. Similar to fish, the bubble will wrap itself around the unborn Sakana until it is ready to come out. Sakana create special bonds with the fish they are friends with. If the bond is strong enough, the two are able to communicate with each other through telepathy. However, this special occasion is quite rare. But even without telepathy, the Sakana and the fish are still able to understand each other.

Uncommon Traits:
 Sakana that have 5-7 different colors (not including the fins)
 Unicorns
 Pegasi
 flowers or decoration within the bubble
 Dual colored eyes
 Fins around ears

Rare Traits:
 Multi-colored Sakana (Unlimited amount of colors)
 alicorns
 different colored bubbles/water (it might be purple instead of blue)
 Different colored fins

For Sakana Pegasi: Wings usually look like fish fins, but they can also look like normal pegasi wings.
Colors: White does not count as another color. ^^ So a pony can have a blue color scheme with some white. It won't count as a second or third color. Also the eyes can be a different color and it won't count. You can make the eyes any color you want, however a Sakana with two different colored eyes is uncommon.
